Fenland members had several good reasons to attend their Christmas bash at the Plough, Horbling. There was the beer of course - Cottage Winter Wonderland, Clearwater Proper Ansome, and Adnams Ghost Ship, all in top class form. The food was also really tasty.

Then there was the deserved presentation of the certificate of Community Pub of the Season to landlord Jon and landlady Su. In attendance were Parish Councillors Dave Campsill and Andy Daubney. The Plough being in the unique position as it is owned by the Parish of Horbling. Jon thanked members of Fenland for the certificate and the Plough's customers, friends and the Councillors for all their support.

The evening was rounded off with a raffle with prizes of a golf umbrella and golf balls (donated by the landlord), and bottles of beers, tee shirts etc.
