8 Sail held their latest beer festival to coincide with Heckington Show weekend, and had 14 guest beers on from 4 breweries, along with a good range of the 8 Sail ales.

Lenton Lane of Nottingham had 4 pale ales including Champion Beer of Nottingham 2020 a 6% 200 NOT OUT !

Magpie Brewery, also from Nottingham, had Raven Stout (4.4%) and a raspberry Jam Sponge pale ale Have Your Cake and Egret 4%

Heritage Brewing Co. from Burton Upon Trent with 4 of their beers including X Porter 4.6%, 2 golden ales and Masterpiece 5.6% named after a former dray horse at the museum. Some of Heritage's pump clips have been designed by the famous CAMRA member cartoonist, Bill Tidy MBE.

Backyard Brewhouse, from Walsall provided 4 pale / golden beers including Snake Charmer (4.6%) and Project Beach Ball (4.7%) brewed for the Commonwealth Games (?).

Thirsty festival goers thronged the brewery and gardens from the Thursday until Sunday by which time just 2 guest beers remained but there was a good range of the 8 Sail brews to satisfy demand.
