The walk started from the Nelson Butt in Spilsby and the halfway house was the Bell at Halton Holegate. The walk was about 4 miles and took in the local countryside crossing the old branch line into Spilsby.

The Bell had four beers on: Draught Bass, Horncastle Dreadnought, Eight Sail Froglet and Green Man. On return to Spilsby, lunch was taken at the Nelson Butt with a choice of Morlands Old Speckled Hen, Batemans XB and Timothy Taylors Boltmaker.
