8 Sail Brewery held its inaugural beer festival over the recent bank holiday week-end with 8 (appropriately enough) beers on offer, three of which were topically milds. 8 Sail Millwright Mild, Riverside Dark Mild, and Sleaford Light Ruby Mild. In addition were 8 Sail Golden Ale, Grafters Under (or Over, if you prefer) the Moon, Toad Dark Side of the Toad, Fulstow Pride of Fulstow, and Sleaford Route 17 IPA .

Brewer Tony Pygott had been busy preparing not just the beer but the bar area also, which added to the attraction.

Fenland members held their May social evening at the brewery and a very pleasant gathering it turned out to be, with the Mill Tea Rooms available for food and the Mill itself open. Good beer, food and company. A great start and we wish Tony all the best.
