The Woolpack, Wainfleet reopens on Thursday 24th September. The official opening is from 7.30pm for 8pm.

Fenland CAMRA members are invited to attend.

"The newly elected MP for the area, Matt Warman, has kindly agreed to pull a few pints and say a few words and Father Gary, will pull a few pints and drink a few, before blessing the pub, the beer, the community and the Brewery. Father Gary has kindly accepted the position of ‘Official Pastor’ for the Brewery!

It shows Batemans’ faith in Wainfleet and love of Wainfleet, having been in business here for 141 years, that we have made the biggest investment in any one pub in our history.

We hope very much that it will be a big part of the community, attract tourists to Wainfleet and help to boost the economy.

Breweries of our size are facing mounting challenges, as new, small breweries have been given massive tax cuts in duty, which makes it very difficult to compete.
