Fine country inn over 200 years old and re-opened in Nov 2013. This welcoming pub with its beamed ceilings, cowshed bar and RAF corner also has a large field at the rear for caravans and camper vans. There is an extensive menu serving local produce. The pub is named after a huge 18th century ox which toured the country. At its largest it weighed 270 stone.
