Originally built by Bass Charrington, following many years as a privately run hotel, the ownership transferred to North Kesteven District Council in 2024. The hotel has two large bar areas, restaurant and three function rooms. It is adjacent to the Bass Maltings looking towards a regeneration scheme. The three real ales change regularly being from large breweries to more local ales. An extensive food menu is available with speciality evenings to coincide with events.
