Batemans Brewery Visitor Centre held a Haloween beer festival in late October with a dozen ales on offer, including 6 from other breweries.

Some of the beers having topical titles such as Festival Ale, Wells Golden Cauldron, and Camerons Thirst Blood. Other less topical names were Blue Monkey Nuts, and Steamin' Billy Sky Diver. All the ales were in good condition and kept busy serving at the bar were Lynn, Ian and Dave.

The festival was well supported, especially by Fenland folk.

The Skegness Silver Band were also on top form and provided a variety of old and modern numbers and were much appreciated.
